8 Days / 7 Nights Little Morocco Tour from Marrakech to Desert of Merzouga

Breakfast and visit of Marrakech, a city famous for its main square Jemaa El Fna, which will occupy much of our time: an amalgam of aromas, sounds and sensations unrepeatable. The city also has a multitude of places to roam and enjoy: the Majorelle Gardens, the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walking through the medina or by the Mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the tour of the walls, the modern city (Gueliz) with its own forms of western life. Departure after breakfast about 07:30 across the High Atlas via the port of Tizi in Tichka pass at (2,260 m of altitude) then we will took a detour along The berber villages to reach the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, impressive kasbah where made films such as Gladiator, Obelix, babel Sahara with Penelope Cruz … and continue toward Ouarzazate, regarded as the great door of the desert and place from the start that the great expeditions, the Kasbah of Taourirt and the main palace of the Glaoui, the Great Pacha in Southern Morocco, a stay about 3 hours for visiting the studios of the cinema also for lunch. The afternoon we continue our journey passing by the roses capital of Morocco, a stop for 10 to 15 min for taking pictures of the small barbarian houses then to Dades valley, a visit of the Monkeys fingers ( Mountains Look like the fingers of Monkeys) we take time to see the Place, dinner and overnight in a traditional guest house.

After breakfast, it will be time for our departure to tinghir city and todra gorges, a guided visit to the gardens, the oasis and the gorges as well, Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant then we will continue through berber villages and small stops for taking pictures till we reach Merzouga, we surround ERG CHABBI , extension of sand desert where is the Great Dune of Morocco, of more than 200 meters of altitude, connecting per track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar, with the mountains bordering Algeria of fund. We will depart in camel ride in a tour of hour and a half which will take us to the Great Dune, feel enveloped in the beautiful sunset in the desert. We sleep in a Tent in the heart of the desert under a cloak of stars.

We woke up before dawn to watch the sunrise. Return to the Auberge in camel ride. Shower and breakfast. Departure to RISSANI where we discover the desert region with its isolated oasis and the black desert. We will visit the palm grove of RISSANI with its ancient kasbahs and mircado largest of the south of Morocco. Then the return to Marrakech Dinner and accommodation in Hotel or Riad.
